As a strategist, I am always focused on what needs to shift in the present to make a desired future outcome achievable. If a more equitable Earth is what is desired, then I am one of the things that needs to shift – because I was handed an unfair and unearned advantage at birth by being born a white, cisgender, heterosexual, neurotypical, able-bodied American citizen.

Creating a world where misogyny, ableism, and systemic racism have been fully dismantled requires that I continue to educate myself and take action that will both support and contribute to the Herculean efforts and sacrifices that generations of Black people, indigenous people, people of color, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ individuals have been making (and making and making).

Personally and professionally, I have a sincere, long-term commitment to creating and occupying spaces that are anti-racist, equitable, and inclusive.
