Believe it or not…

…every workaholic is under a spell.

And yes, that spell (or should I say “curse”) is due to the voodoo that YOU do so well.

We all do it well.

We tell ourselves these stories and then we actually believe them!

(Any chance you’ve been keeping yourself chained to your work with a few horror stories of your own?)

Ahhh, but if we have the power to invest in one story, we have the power to invest in a different one.

One that’s just as powerful – yet makes us feel energized rather than depleted.

One that feels like we’re giving ourselves a warm embrace rather than a sharp poke with a cattle prod.

One that reassures us that we, ourselves, are NOT the only source of strength we can rely on in the quest to make our dreams come true.
