As a coach and strategist, I am always focused on what needs to shift in the present to make a desired future outcome achievable. If a more equitable Earth is what is desired, then I am one of the things that needs to shift – because I was handed an unfair and unearned advantage at birth by being born a white, cisgender, heterosexual, neurotypical, able-bodied American citizen.

Creating a country where sexism, ableism, and systemic racism has been fully dismantled requires that I educate myself and take action that will both support and contribute to the Herculean efforts and sacrifices that generations of Black people, indigenous people, people of color, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ individuals have been making (and making and making).

Personally and professionally, I have a sincere, long-term commitment to being anti-racist. The spaces I create and occupy are inclusive across ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, appearance, and physical abilities – and that inclusivity also extends to the brilliant clientele I serve, the wonderful people I employ, and the quality partners and vendors that I choose to support.
