A few additional thoughts:

How do you handle…

…high-stakes opportunities?

I’m talking about those moments when it’s actually possible that one of your dreams could actually come true.

How do you keep from psyching yourself out or buckling under the pressure?

One of the quickest, easiest things you can do to alleviate some of that in-the-heat-of-the-moment anxiety is to change your grammar:

Rather than tell yourself that “this is THE opportunity I’ve been waiting for,” tell yourself that “this is AN opportunity…”

…which implies that there will be other opportunities.

And there will be.

AND, just because you can’t imagine the “what, where, when, or how” of those future opportunities, doesn’t mean that they aren’t coming your way.

Onward!
