A few additional thoughts:
My wish for you is…
…that you experience satisfying, sustained, joyful, and adventure-filled success.
THAT kind of success requires energy management.
(The less energy you hemorrhage on thoughts, activities, and reactions that keep you spinning, the more energy you’ll have to put towards your passions.)
Is “polling” (by which I mean: asking a lot of people for their input on a decision you are trying to make) wrong?
No, of course not.
(We don’t live in a black-and-white world. Not a lot of stuff is strictly right or wrong.)
Can it sometimes be helpful to ask a larger group of people (like a mastermind or class or team that you are a part of) for their opinions?
Yes, it certainly can be.
I am simply suggesting that you become more conscious of when you are hanging out in “asking mode” as a tactic to delay actually making a decision.
To notice when…
…you know the answer, but you are scared to take the bold move it requires of you.
…you feel like you don’t have as much concrete info as you need to be 100% comfortable with making a decision.
…you don’t want to shoulder the responsibility or consequences that may come with being “the decider.”
But making bold moves, trusting your gut, and standing behind your choices are required of everyone who is shifting to higher levels of success.
Onward!
