The most important stories…

…are the ones we tell ourselves.

Because those are the stories that either reinforce or deflect the notions, beliefs, and narratives that the people in (and the circumstances of) our life would like us to accept as “true.”

But what IS “true” really?

Usually, “true” is just the story we choose to believe.

Are you currently telling – and believing – any broke-down, sad-sack stories about yourself?


If you need more pep in your step, the very least you can do is to tell yourself stories that make you feel energized, not deflated.

I mean, why the heck not?

YOU have so much more power over how your life feels than you are probably giving yourself credit for.
